We want families to understand what health information comes with a puppy, what the guarantee is designed to cover, and what we need from you after the puppy goes home.

What the Guarantee Means
Souls Maltipoo Puppies’ original program includes a one-year genetic health guarantee. This page is a plain-language overview of the promise already described on our website. The signed adoption agreement provided for your puppy is the final document for exact coverage, exclusions, responsibilities and any remedy.
Genetic Health Coverage
The one-year guarantee is intended for qualifying hereditary or congenital conditions that seriously affect the puppy’s health or quality of life. A diagnosis must come from a licensed veterinarian and be supported by the records required in the signed agreement.
Because every health situation is different, we do not promise a specific outcome on this webpage. Any remedy is handled according to the written guarantee and the veterinary documentation provided.
Your First Veterinary Visit
Our original terms require a licensed-veterinarian examination within 48 hours after you receive your puppy. Please take the records we provide to that appointment.
- Ask the veterinarian to review the puppy’s current health.
- Confirm the next vaccine and parasite-prevention dates.
- Keep the examination notes, receipts and any laboratory results.
- Contact us promptly if the veterinarian identifies a serious concern.
What Is Not a Genetic Guarantee
The original terms exclude problems caused after the puppy leaves our care, including injury, accident, neglect, improper care, and failure to follow reasonable veterinary recommendations. Treatable parasites and conditions related to missed meals or poor routine may also be excluded under the written agreement.
Normal variations in adult size, coat texture, color development, temperament and cosmetic features are not the same as a diagnosed genetic health condition.
Making a Health Claim
- Contact us as soon as a serious concern is diagnosed.
- Send the licensed veterinarian’s written diagnosis and relevant records.
- Provide any testing or supporting documentation requested by the written agreement.
- Stay in contact while the records are reviewed.
- We will work through the next step under the signed guarantee.
Keeping the Guarantee in Good Standing
- Complete the initial veterinary examination within the required timeframe.
- Continue recommended preventive care and vaccinations.
- Provide appropriate food, fresh water, exercise and a safe home.
- Keep your puppy at a healthy weight and maintain routine dental care.
- Keep veterinary records in case they are ever needed.
